Immediately after account opening I applied for the Gold Visa and was approved immediately and NO HP on credit. Guess this one is a freebe :-)It took some patience and willpower to keep gardening, but after 12.5 months PenFed gave me a CLI from $1000 SL to $10000. I'm so appreciative of this community! Since your first card appears to have started a bit on the low end, I would give things time. Potentially, you can ask for a CLI since your card is ~6 months (personally I'd wait longer), but ...

To make sure you don't get an unwanted HP, freeze your reports and call in and speak to someone -- do not do it online!
