60 seconds is too damn long. And this is comming from someone who was for the changes to the potion system. However with the amount of damage these Hardmode bosses can throw out, 60 seconds is just too damn long to wait. As it stands there is no reason to bring more than one (or even jut a half) stack of healing potions to a boss fight.
